Non-Discrimination Statement

The Mattituck-Cutchogue School District, 385 Depot Lane, Cutchogue, New York, 11935, Board of Education, its officers and employees, shall not discriminate against any student, employee or applicant on the basis of race, color, national origin, creed, religion, marital statues, sex, age, sexual orientation or disability in the educational programs or activities that it operates, and it is required by Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 not to discriminate in such a manner.

This policy of non-discrimination includes access by students to education programs, counseling services for students, course offerings, and student activities, as well as recruitment and appointment of employees and employment pay, benefits, advancement and/or terminations.

The District complies with the Title IX requirements. The District administrator responsible for the coordination of activities relating to compliance with Section 504 and the District administrator responsible for the coordination of activities relating to compliance with the State’s Human Rights Law is the Director of Special Education, and may be reached at the District Office, Mattituck-Cutchogue School District, 385 Depot Lane, Cutchogue, New York, 11935, (631) 298-4242 ext. 227. This administrator will provide information, including complaint procedures, to any student or employee who feels that the District may have violated his or her rights under Title IX, Section 504, or the State’s Human Rights Law.
